About Our PET Compressor Parts

After three years of research and development, W.C. Works is now making all the lower end components for the W compressors and every month we continue to make more patterns to increase our inventory of parts made by W.C.Works. We have done slight modifications and improvements to our parts which have resulted in longer life and better overall performance.

We cannot overstate the fact that all parts manufactured by W.C.Works are made in the U.S.A. and the U.K.

Our extensive inventory also includes Remanufactured Cranks for most V compressors and WH28/WH40, and WH50 compressors and reconditioned connecting rods that are less expensive than our new ones.

A good return core is required if you decide to purchase one of our reconditioned parts.

W.C. Works offers a complete line of cylinders (new and remanufactured) in stock from VH9 to WH50 for Belliss and Morcom G/D compressors.

W.C. Work’s relined cylinders are the very best in the industry and our customers can be confident that every remanufactured part will last for years at a fraction of the cost.

We have also started manufacturing an assortment of Top Covers for your Belliss and Morcom Air Compressors.

All of our Cylinder and Top Covers come with pressure certification documents for your review.

W.C. Works has partnered with the Thermal Engineers at Advance Cooling Technology to help solve a growing problem with the high air temperatures that are developing with the Belliss and Morcom /Gardner Denver compressor between stages of compression.

After two years in development, we are now offering a high performance intercooler to resolve these issues. Our coolers have two and a half times the cooling surface area as the standard coolers that are being offered by our competition. And, we were able to do this without any structural changes to the exterior parts of the coolers.

W.C.Works is now the leading distributor of A.C.T. intercoolers and aftercoolers, and carries a complete line for all Belliss and Morcom/ Gardner Denver Compressor.

W.C. Works offers a complete line of pistons and piston rod for all Belliss and Morcom compressors. All W.C.Works rods are made to OEM specifications, right down to the rolled threads to give you the confidence that you made the right choice by choosing W.C.Works as your Belliss and Morcom G/D compressor supplier.

Technology is constantly changing in the PET Industry. Because of this, W.C.Works has partnered with the leader in the controls technology industry and has started producing its own Soft Start and Control Panels in the USA.

All our Soft Start Panels are made to size for each compressor to meet the FLA of the motor on your Belliss and Morcom compressor. W.C.Works starter panels also meet and exceed the OEM requirements for the needed amp draw and motor protections. With our starter panel in place, you can be confident that your compressor motor has the protection it needs.

W.C.Works has also developed and designed its own PLC control panels. Our program uses only the best technology available to control and protect your compressor from any conditions that may develop. We have eliminated contactor and pressure switches and uses transducers that are more accurate and reliable then other panel manufacturers.

W.C. Works has also increased the amount of safeties for you compressor and our new control panel now protect against over pressurizing the air system. This safety feature needed to be addressed to protect plant personal from the hazards and the danger that may develop from a flange failure or an exploding pipe if the compressor continued to build pressure due to human error or a parts failure.

We have installed the logic in our program that will shut the compressor down if this condition ever develops.

W.C. Works has also upgraded our panels to include the condensate drain system. Our panels can now monitor you drain all drains with electronic counter through the control panel. If the drains are not operating properly, our panels will give you a warning alarm letting you know that there is too much or too little water being dispersed. If this condition continues, the compressor will shut down as part of our PLC programs as safety protection features.

This will help identify a clogged drain or a water leak with the compressor intercoolers. A trending screen will allow you to create a base line to set up your drain all’s for a selected number of times you would like each of the four drains to open in your condensate system to eliminate moisture.  This will help identify a problem before it can affect the compressor and causes any internal damage.

Built in Sequencer in our Control Panel

We have also installed an Auto setting in our Logic that will control your compressor after start-up and allow it to shut down and start back up to meet floor demands. When put in Auto, if the compressor does not load in the desired time selected, it will automatically shut down until the low pressure setting is met. At that time it will start back up without human interaction.

By doing this, we have created a savings that is reflected each and every month in your energy consumption.

W.C. Works offers a complete line of both New and Remanufactured Valves for most Belliss and Morcom compressors.

Our Remanufactured Valves follow strict tolerances and guidelines, making them as reliable as new valves without the cost.

However, a return Valve Core is required to participate in our valve program.

If you would like to keep your valves as spares, then new is the way to go. We will install the new valves, and send your used valves back to our shop. We will rebuild your valves, nickel plate the seats and guard and send it back to you as good as new with the confidence that your rebuilt valve is of the highest quality available.

All W.C.Works New and Used Valves, along with all Valve Parts are made machined and assembled in Germany.
